The International Symposium on COastal Resources and Environment (CORE) is a platform for researchers to exchange ideas, make new connections, cultivate young researchers and hence advance this field of research. Following four successful CORE events in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2023, the coming CORE2025, themed on Coastal Resilience, will be held as a side event with IAHR World Congress during 22-27 June, 2025 at Singapore EXPO.
Under the continuous support of IAHR, CORE2025 is jointly organised by Hohai University (China), University of Auckland (New Zealand), Beijing Normal University (China) and National University of Singapore (Singapore). Six sessions are planned: (1) estuarine hydrodynamics and sediment dynamics, (2) biophysical interactions and biomorphodynamics, (3) blue carbon in tidally dominated environments, (4) estuarine systems as buffers against climate change, (5) sustainability of human-sea coupled coastal wetland systems, and (6) technological advances and nature-based solutions.
You are very welcome to share your research in CORE2025, and let’s meet up in Singapore!
